Wedding day ( !!! )
Join us for our wedding celebration at Tomales Bay, California. Plan to arrive by late morning and stay through the evening.
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 at the grassy top of the hill. The cocktail hour and reception will be held

Getting there
Travel
Tomales Bay is located on the stunning northern California coast, about an hour north of San Francisco. If flying in, we recommend arriving at SFO or OAK and renting a car for the drive up.
The route takes you through rolling hills and farmland before arriving at the coast. We’ll share specific venue directions and parking information closer to the date.
Uber/Lyft
Please note that Uber and Lyft extremely limited in the area, so we recommend renting a car for the weekend.
Parking
Free parking is available onsite at Lodge at Marconi.

There are a number of lovely inns, vacation rentals, and campgrounds in the area. We recommend booking early as availability can be limited in the spring. Some suggestions:

The bay area's most famous oyster farm, with a beautiful restaurant on the water and an expansive extraordinary menu, you can't go wrong! (Just get a reservation ahead of time)
The Marshall Store
A cute tiny grocery-cafe that has fantastic oysters right on the bay!

Feeling more adventurous? Our favorite oysters come from TBOC. There's no restaurant, t his is purely a place to buy oysters directly from the farm-then take them to a beach and shuck them yourself!
Bovine bakery
Get here early — the almond croissants sell out fast. Perfect stop before hitting the trails.
Nick's cove
Oysters, cocktails, and a deck right over the bay. Great for sunset, but get there before the crowd.
Side street kitchen
Small spot, huge portions. Get the breakfast burrito and expect a short wait on weekends.

Things to do
Point Reyes Lighthouse
308 steps down (and back up!) to a lighthouse perched right on the cliffs. Go in winter and you might catch migrating whales.
Alamere Falls
One of the only waterfalls in California that drops straight onto the beach. It’s a bit of a trek to get there, but so worth it.
Kayak Tomales Bay
Rent a kayak and paddle out — the water’s calm and you’ll probably spot seals. Go at night for the bioluminescence, it’s magic.
Sculptured Beach Tide Pools
Time it with low tide and you’ll find starfish, anemones, all kinds of little critters. Kids love this one.
Bear Valley Trail
Easy, flat, and gorgeous — perfect for a bike ride or a lazy walk through the woods.
Bodega Head
Windy bluffs with incredible views, and a great whale watching spot too. Bring a jacket, it’s always cold up there.
Bodega Bay Harbor
Wander the docks, watch the fishing boats come in, and grab crab straight off the boat if you’re lucky.
Drakes Beach
A wide, quiet beach under dramatic white cliffs. A little windy, very pretty.
Sonoma Coast Drive
If you’ve got an extra hour, drive up Highway 1 — cliffs, little coves, pull-offs everywhere. Just gorgeous.

FAQ
What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal / cocktail. Keep in mind we’ll be on the coast — it can be breezy and cool in the evenings, so bring a layer.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’re keeping our celebration intimate. Please refer to your invitation for specifics on who’s included.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.
What about parking?
Parking details will be shared closer to the date. There will be ample space at the venue.
Will there be shuttles?
